英語教育講義⑤
Today's topic is about expensive learning English. When we study English, the balance of four things that is meaning-focused input, meaning-focused output, language-focused learning and fluency development is important. When we read and listening English, we had better read easy and interesting content. It's also effective to give pressure to ourselves like time limit during writing. In group meeting, one student said that he tried to listen to high level materials when he was third grades of high school student, but it didn't work for him. I think we need to take a lot of input through easy materials in order to build the base of English skill.

I agree. Input is the most important activity, and output follows. However, in both activities, we have to concentrate on meanings. This is impossible when it comes to a super difficult materials like a friend of yours said. (Koyo)
